Project objectives
The collaboration with Kross Rental, a company offering bicycle hire services to businesses, was intended to result in the creation of a website. The main aim of our work was to structure the content with two target audiences in mind. Our client wanted the content to be aimed at both employers and employees.
One of the many features that sets the new Kross Rental website apart is its clear range of bikes, which includes high-quality photos, a description and the price of each bike.
Define a customer
Kross is a Polish manufacturer of bicycles, including city, road, mountain and electric bikes. It is a market leader and enjoys a good reputation amongst many cycling enthusiasts. The company was keen to present this service as an additional benefit for employees and as an environmentally friendly initiative. Corporate bike hire is a Western trend that is becoming increasingly popular in our country.
Blog
Kross Rental’s old website featured an extensive knowledge base, which helped the brand position itself as an industry expert. As part of our collaboration, we migrated all the blog content to the new website. We organised the content into relevant categories, which now makes it easier to find the information you need.
Newsletter
With a view to rapidly expanding our client’s contact database, we suggested a section where users can sign up for the newsletter, which entitles them to additional discounts.
Configurator for quotations
We have developed a comprehensive bike hire configurator. This tool helps users determine their price range, the type of bikes they are interested in, and the duration of the hire agreement. Once the relevant details have been entered, the configurator displays the result as the monthly cost of the service.
An additional benefit is that the configurator allows you to calculate the estimated reduction in your carbon footprint and the number of calories burned. These figures are based on the distance travelled each day.
Breakdown of the offer – for employers
To meet our client’s requirements, we have divided the Kross Rental offering into two target groups. The ‘For Employers’ tab presents content highlighting the benefits of using the service for businesses. The language used emphasises these benefits, and the information architecture is designed to guide users through the process of submitting a quote enquiry.
The website’s modular structure
We based the website design for the MCK on reusable sections, allowing visual elements to be expanded or contact details to be modified via the CMS in real time. In addition, we used the intuitive Gutenberg editor so that the Centre’s staff could easily make changes by following the dedicated guide we produced.
