Access to content for visitors
Project summary:
We have built a fully responsive website on which we have highlighted the key sections specified by the client – the events module, VIP boxes and contact forms are always within easy reach of the user.
The new website has led to an increase in customer satisfaction with their interactions with TAURON Arena Kraków.
We have created a new, versatile key visual that will remain relevant even if the title sponsor changes.
We migrated the content to the new website without affecting the site’s search engine rankings.
Objective of the project
Our client needed a user-friendly website that met accessibility standards for people with disabilities. We also developed new conversion paths tailored to the needs of different user groups.
Define a customer
TAURON Arena Kraków is the largest and most modern sports and entertainment venue in Poland. The venue can accommodate up to 22,000 people, and since it opened, millions of people have passed through its gates.
A vast majority of these people have, at least once, found themselves needing to visit the TAURON Arena Kraków website.
Due to rising usability standards and the growing importance of mobile devices, there was a need to create a new website.
We have designed and implemented intuitive solutions that enhance the user experience and make the website easier to use.
Forms
We have ensured that the contact forms are positioned appropriately, and we have also created special FAQ sections, which we have placed on various subpages of the website. This means that users do not have to search for answers amongst a very long list of general questions, so they do not feel lost whilst browsing the site’s extensive content.
Solution
In the initial phase of work on the website, we had to review the client’s entire database in order to assess the scope of the implementation work. We categorised the content according to which elements of the old website could be transferred automatically, and which needed to be adapted to the new template and transferred manually. We then imported the categorised content into the new template.
Module displaying events
The events display module was one of the most important structural elements of the new website. We have divided the events into one-off events and recurring events. From each event page, you can be redirected to the external website of the ticket distributor.
As part of this project, we migrated the Polish and English event listings to the new website. The migration also included all news items and photographs in the gallery, which has been compiled since the arena first opened.
We have designed the conversion paths in such a way that using the website is intuitive for the user and guides them towards the desired actions.
The new website is fully functional for users wishing to purchase a ticket for an event or book a parking space. We have set up appropriate contact forms on the subpages that are key to conversion. As part of the project, we migrated the Polish and English event listings to the new website. The migration also included all news items and photos in the gallery, which has been compiled since the arena first opened.
VIP boxes
One of the key business objectives was the letting of VIP boxes. We have prepared an interactive arena map where you can find out more about a selected box.
For those interested in hiring a box, we have provided contact forms that allow you to quickly access detailed information about the offer.
WCAG Standards
The website complies with legal guidelines on the wide accessibility of web content. It can be viewed in a high-contrast version with enlarged buttons, making it easier to use for people with disabilities and older people. We have experience in implementing WCAG standards, which is why the website retains its aesthetic appeal.
