Objective of the project
Our aim was to create a website where browsing the content would be an enjoyable experience, and where getting in touch with BCTW staff would be intuitive and straightforward for everyone. We designed a new, eye-catching key visual and, right from the design stage, prioritised ease of communication.
Define a customer
The Bydgoszcz Trade Fair and Exhibition Centre is a complex of buildings that opened in 2015. The main purpose of the BCTW is to organise events requiring suitable venues – trade fairs, concerts, conferences, training courses, etc.
BCTW in a new incarnation
We have incorporated diagonal lines into the design, inspired by the building’s façade, which serve as a distinctive feature of the website and of the Bydgoszcz Trade and Exhibition Centre itself. The main sliders are colour-coded using vibrant hues to represent the different areas of the building and the types of events held there.
A new information architecture
The new website www features clear CTAs encouraging visitors to organise an event, which from the outset grabs the attention of anyone potentially interested in the services offered by BCTW.
We have prepared various conversion pathways for two distinct target audiences – people visiting the website for informational purposes, as well as as well as for potential clients interested in renting space.
The task of finding conference rooms usually falls to staff working in company secretariats. As these staff members have a lot on their plates, it has proved necessary to streamline the communication process with BCTW as much as possible. By clarifying the requirement and submitting the appropriate form, we guarantee that the user’s enquiry will reach the relevant department and be dealt with promptly.
Accessibility in accordance with WCAG
Mobile website online
We wanted to ensure that office workers, who mainly use smartphones, could easily start the process of organising an event. In the menu section, we have also highlighted the search function and a toggle for a high-contrast version for people with disabilities. The mobile version of the website ensures maximum usability for users even without access to a computer, for example whilst on business trips.
Usability
The new Key Visual contributed to a better reception of the BCTW website. There has also been an increase in user satisfaction, which in the future will certainly translate into a rising conversion rate.
We have focused on maximum usability and wide availability, thanks to which even from a smartphone you can book a room or filling in the contact form has become intuitive and enjoyable.
