Summary of the project:
We designed and implemented an e-commerce platform for a company in the furniture industry.
We have implemented a single-view product configurator.
We have created a configurator for free material samples.
We have put together a shopping basket divided into three steps.
Offer global
Master of Covers approached us with a request to design and launch an online shop. The main aim of our work was to create a website showcasing the company’s range – namely, furniture upholstery – and to simplify the user’s shopping journey.
Intuitive search engine for products
We have introduced an engaging homepage that encourages users to explore the site further. To make it easier for visitors to find the furniture model of their choice, we have included a product search bar on the homepage.
In addition, we have introduced the option to create a list of favourite items. Customers can easily access this list at any time via the icon located in the header and on their user profile pages.
Free Sample Configurator
With the user’s needs in mind, we have implemented a dedicated module for ordering free fabric samples. This allows users to select their chosen fabrics outside the shopping basket. The module is currently under development and enables users to return to their order at any time whilst browsing the website.
Product configuration
Thanks to the intuitive configuration, users can easily select a furniture model and choose the desired upholstery to go with it. This helps customers to better visualise the final look of the product.
User-friendly checkout
To keep the checkout process as short as possible, we have designed a single-page shopping basket. We have divided it into three stages, offering several delivery and payment options.
